This is my Flapper, an icon of a very different time. I've always loved that period in American History (1920's), the music, the style, the tenacity, just everything. And after doing some research for an assignment that involved that era, I felt the need to do a quick and simple drawing that would put it all together- and this was the result.
Note that this also my second, and last recycled piece that will be on this account, so if you recognize it, it was on my previous account.
I loved how this one turned out and for that reason brought it back. Enjoy

-Utensils- .5 Mechanical pencil, Faber Castell Pigment Pens (F, M, and Brush Tip), and a Scarlet Lake Red Prismacolor Marker.
-Working Time- 30mins. penciling, 45 mins. inking + cleanup,
and a few seconds to color in her lips...as the black was done while inking. Total: 1hr. 5mins.
