Red Harvest

My latest full illustration.

I'm not exactly sure what brought this idea to bear...but I do know that it initially came out of brainstorming death deities to draw...

So yeah...that eventually came together into a oni-esque girl with long sword. I suppose that means you can call her my own version of a shinigami, or preferably, an agent of Enma (I prefer the latter since I remember now that shinigami only entered the Japanese mythological lexicon during the Meiji Period - well after European influence took full swing - check pre-Meiji Japanese mythological stories on death and you'll see what I mean).

Kinda random-ish, so I hope y'all enjoy it. Cuz' I really don't have much to add...sorry

Addendum:
-Utensils- non-photo blue pencils, 0.5 mechanical pencil, various Sakura brand pigment liners, Copic markers, and Photoshop
-Working Time- 30 mins. penciling, 1.5 hrs. inking + cleanup, 2 hrs. coloring + Photoshop edits = Total Time: 4 hrs.
